Since opening our doors in Windsor in 2012, Alpha Gymnastics Academy has been a place where children of all ages can grow, one skill, one goal, and one smile at a time.
Alpha is a Foundation for LIFE
At Alpha Gymnastics Academy, our mission is to inspire children to discover their strength, confidence, and love for movement through the art of gymnastics. Founded by former Romanian national gymnasts Robert and Ruxandra Stanescu, Alpha was built on a deep understanding of how disciplined, progressive training and a supportive environment can help children achieve their full potential, both in and out of the gym.
We believe gymnastics is much more than a sport. It’s a foundation for life by teaching confidence, coordination, strength, flexibility, discipline, and social skills. Our goal as coaches is to help every child realize that through effort, patience, and perseverance, they can accomplish things they never thought possible. Gymnastics builds strong bodies and even stronger minds, fostering habits of respect, teamwork, and self-belief that last a lifetime.

Confidence is built one skill, one step, and one moment of courage at a time. At Alpha, every new achievement, no matter how small, reminds our gymnasts that with dedication and persistence, they can overcome challenges and believe in their limitless potential.
Coordination
Every movement in gymnastics teaches grace, balance, and control. Through repetition and focus, gymnasts learn to connect mind and body in perfect harmony, a skill that extends far beyond the gym and into everything they do in life.
Strenght
True strength is more than muscle, it’s resilience, effort, and determination. As gymnasts grow stronger physically, they also discover an inner power: the confidence to push forward, to rise after each fall, and to celebrate progress every day.
Flexibility
Flexibility teaches adaptability, in movement and in mindset. In gymnastics, stretching beyond limits becomes a metaphor for life itself: learning to bend without breaking, to grow with grace, and to stay open to new possibilities.
